Dr. Abida Anwar, PhD, MPH
Dr. Abida Anwar is an epidemiologist, biotechnology scientist, and data strategist with more than 15 years of experience spanning biotechnology research, biochemistry, disease surveillance, environmental health, pharmacovigilance, and advanced analytics.
She holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health, bringing a unique multidisciplinary perspective that connects laboratory science, population health, and data-driven decision-making. Her scientific background includes molecular biology, microbiology, protein and enzyme characterization, biotechnology research, diagnostic reagent development, clinical pathology, and neuropharmacology. Throughout her research career, she has authored scientific publications and presented her work at national and international conferences.
In public health, Dr. Anwar has led epidemiologic investigations, disease surveillance initiatives, and predictive analytics projects focused on emerging infectious diseases, environmental exposures, chronic disease outcomes, and healthcare preparedness. Her expertise includes statistical modeling, machine learning, real-world evidence generation, geographic health analysis, and population health surveillance using large and complex datasets.
